Detail Homes Expands Property Portfolio Across North West, Seeking Partners and Investors

A North West property developer with strong military connections is expanding its footprint across the region with several new developments in the pipeline.

Detail Homes, which has military veterans in key leadership positions, is currently completing three apartments in Mossley for the open market while awaiting planning permission for six new-build houses in New Mills, High Peak.

The ambitious developer is also preparing a pre-application for a site in Smallwood that will deliver 12 residential units, and has joined a consortium to acquire a £2.5 million mill site in Etherow Park, Compstall.

"We're seeing significant opportunities across the North West property market," said the company's Operations Director, a Parachute Regiment veteran whose military experience has proven invaluable in the construction sector.

Detail Homes' site management team includes an ex-Duke of Lancaster's Regiment serviceman, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting those who have served in the armed forces as they transition to civilian careers.

The firm actively recruits from the ex-military community, recognising the valuable skills service personnel bring to construction and property development, including leadership, project management and problem-solving capabilities.

"Military veterans bring unparalleled discipline and work ethic to our projects," said a company spokesperson. "Their ability to operate under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances has been instrumental in our success."

As the company expands its portfolio, Detail Homes is actively seeking collaborative partners and investors to join them on new ventures. The firm offers mentoring opportunities and property development education for those looking to enter the sector.

"We welcome conversations with potential partners who share our vision and values," the spokesperson added. "Whether you're an experienced investor or new to property development, we'd love to hear from you."

Detail Homes is encouraging interested parties to join their group on the Employment Rendezvous (ERV) platform, which connects veterans with employment opportunities. The platform, developed by Project RECCE, a charity supporting ex-armed forces personnel transitioning to construction careers, provides networking opportunities for those with military backgrounds.
